Sometimes we approach a new year with a sense of foreboding, sometimes with optimism, and sometimes with a mixture of both. A lot of the most commonly made new year’s resolutions are also the most commonly broken resolutions. We are optimistic, but our power to change is very weak. Whether you are optimistic or pessimistic, our challenge is to bring our weakness to God.
