After Moses spends 40 days and nights with God on Mount Sinai, he descends and his face shines with God’s glory so intensely that it frightens the Israelites. In response to their inability to gaze at him, Moses veils his face.

God’s unmitigated glory is available to us through Jesus Christ, and we can draw near with through and on his unshakeable, eternal, and complete Righteousness.

If the Gospel surpasses the law of Moses, how much more glory is available for us through the righteousness of Jesus Christ?
